Asking for my wife who wants Mexican food while we are in the SF Bay Area, btw.

We used to go to Mami Chellis and Mama Coco in Menlo Park before we moved away but dont know San Mateo at all.

@ike I frankly don’t know Mexican in San Mateo or peninsula super well but yes that and the others listed are ok.

It doesn’t compare to Oakland of course but it’s better than no Mexican.

San Mateo has very good Chinese and Japanese if you want recs too

@skinnylatte We will be here for a few nights so if you have a rec for Chinese/ Japanese in San Mateo, then we might go another night! I remember there are some pretty good ramen shops out here.
