@birv2
I cannot access your blog for some reason, "cannot complete request"
@deedend Hmm. I just got there. Try a different browser?
@birv2
Tried with the disgusting chrome, but no luck. It might be an issue with my ISP
@deedend weird! Maybe reboot
@birv2
I'm on a phone
@birv2
It doesn't mean that a reboot wouldn't help, though
@deedend I got to it on my iPhone just fine.
@birv2 How much do you have to sync from your mobile laptop. There are a number of simple solutions if you have 1 -5 GB. I have tried syncthing and set it aside. I found a Nextcloud instance with apps on both ends works for me. And works on the phone as well as desktop.
@mani2jeff Right now, way under 5 gb. Can Nextcloud run automatically?
@birv2 Yes, it syncs within seconds of changes. The free services are 1GB. More costs a few dollars per year. You might start with 1GB to experience. Murena.io has been my fave.
@birv2 There is also a OneDrive Linux sync service but I haven't found a use to put it through tests. An rclone mounted drive has been good enough for my use cases.
@birv2 That is at https://github.com/abraunegg/OneDrive Would want to look closely at development plans. Doesn't look like recent changes
@birv2 pcloud is another alternative with free storage up to 10GB but more of a backup option. But it does sync too.
@mani2jeff Thanks for all the recos! Just installed and got pcloud Drive and Sync going. Looking good so far. See my last post for details if you're interested. Thanks again.
