@liztai @ellane I am not Christian but agree with you that this type of mocking of beliefs is appalling. It wasn't included in the opening ceremony highlights we saw and I have no desire to see it.

Like I explained to another poster. I wasn't as upset with the blasphemy because it's just expected. I was upset by the anger at us being upset, like we don't have a right to be angry. If you can be angry when your values were mocked, surely you can give space to others to express their dismay?
